Business Sectors: Education
Our largest and most extensive sector, our work in higher and further education is expanding rapidly with 58 colleges and universities now using the system.
We have managed this large group of clients by creating the Marshall ACM higher education user group, a forum for clients to meet and discuss how we can improve our work and share experiences of how best to implement e-learning.
New projects have followed in this sector:
- The Diversity Training Toolkit (Blended Learning Programme) - University of Keele
- Diversity in Learning and Teaching - University of Hertfordshire
- Recruitment and Selection - Canterbury Christ Church University College
- Display Screen Equipment - University of Birmingham
The challenge in education has been to implement e-learning in a culture where many institutions do not have mandatory training. This has meant careful scripting of content and also tailoring of our learning management system so that automatic reminder messages to users are not deemed to be too intrusive or demanding.
