Diversity in the Workplace E-Learning course

Diversity in the Workplace was the first e-learning course produced by Marshall ACM and still our most popular course. The module is highly customisable with clients linking key parts of the programme to their own internal policies.

Now Updated with The Equality Act

The generic script covers:

  • An introduction to the concepts of diversity, equality and equal opportunities
  • An explanation of why diversity is important
  • Overview of Legislation (direct and indirect)
  • The Equality Act
  • Stereotyping and Prejudice
  • Bullying and Harassment
  • Legal Liability
  • Challenging Unacceptable Behaviour
  • Evaluation and Conclusion

Learning design: MACM courses are highly interactive, using a variety of question-types to encourage users to apply underlying concepts to their day-to-day working environment. Courses are also graphically-rich, using audio-visual assets as appropriate.

An (optional) end-of-course test assesses users on the level of knowledge they have retained. Pass rates can be set as required.

Course duration: 45 minutes (users can bookmark progress and complete the course in 'chunks').
All our courses are highly customisable. Clients can add their own graphics, and adapt text-based resources to cover their own procedures and areas of key interest. Clients can also link to their own internal policies and procedures.

Used by over 300 UK organisations, versions available include: Charities, Corporate, Education, Housing, Local Government, NHS and SME. Bespoke courses also carried out. For a further information please contact us at contactus@marshallacm.co.uk
