Health and Safety at Work E-Learning

Overview: We all have an important role to play in ensuring that our workplaces are safe and healthy places, and this programme will give you the practical guidance you need. Our Health & Safety course contains three core Units, covering an Introduction to Health & Safety, Risk Management, and Fire Safety. These can be added to depending on client requirements to cover additional areas such as Manual Handling and Workstations.

Core Learning Outcomes:

  • Describe key aspects of organisational safety policies.
  • Identify the roles that everyone has to play in securing health and safety.
  • Explain the basics of risk management and risk assessment, focussing on hazards, risks and the risk-assessment process.
  • Spot common fire hazards.
  • Explain key fire safety features and safe evacuation procedures.
  • Describe fire safety roles and responsibilities.

Learning design: MACM courses are highly interactive, using a variety of question-types to encourage users to apply underlying concepts to their day-to-day working environment. Courses are also graphically-rich, using audio-visual assets as appropriate.

An (optional) end-of-course test assesses users on the level of knowledge they have retained. Pass rates can be set as required.

Course duration: 45 minutes (users can bookmark progress and complete the course in ‘chunks’).

All our courses are highly customisable. Clients can add their own graphics, and adapt text-based resources to cover their own procedures and areas of key interest. Clients can also link to their own internal policies and procedures.
